David Olsen Dear Mr. Olsen, When you dropped off the JCEDC articles of incorporation (but not the by-laws) as I'd requested, you said "You've got way too much time on your hands. That's what everybody's saying, you know." Unprovoked, you also said I shouldn't try to claim that you hadn't thrown away the documents, because you had someone witness your pulling the documents from the trash, and that I sounded incredulous when you claimed to have thrown them away. This is not the sort of behavior the public should receive when they request records from an agency that is doing the City's work. I believe it is illegal and unprofessional to attempt to intimidate or otherwise influence the behavior of someone making a perfectly legal open records request. Please supply a copy of this letter to the Commerce and Industry Association Board. Sincerely,
