Jefferson Banner - Opinion John Foust - JDC |
March 1, 2000 John Foust Dear John: This letter will respond to your March 1, 2000 fax and e-mail on behalf of the JDC. Sorry to hear the information I provided was unreadable. Evidently the floppy disk you provided was defective. I am sending this letter, along with the following requested information, on both e-mail and through regular mail:
As stated in my February 26th letter, the minutes of the both December 1999 and January 2000 JDC meetings was provided to you on January 21st. I appreciate your admitting that your request for the December 1999 JDC minutes is redundant. That is true. I would like to point out that today, over a month after all requested information was provided, and after six additional communications from you, you now claim that you didn't receive the January 2000 JDC minutes. A taped conversation of our January 21st meeting which took place in my office at 12:30 p.m. confirms that the January 2000 JDC minutes were on the floppy disk when it left my office. I am providing another copy of those minutes. I think this letter adequately addresses your March 1, 2000 letter on behalf of the JDC. Sincerely, DAVID OLSEN cc: District Attorney Dave Wambach, JDC Board of Directors |
