David Olsen Commerce and Industry Association, Jefferson Development Corporation 305 South Main Street Jefferson, WI 53549 March 1, 2000 Dear Mr. Olsen, Your letter of February 26 contained a floppy disk that was unreadable. I attempted to read it on four different computers, with no success. I therefore request:
I would like all these records in electronic form as before. I would like these records sent as attachments to the e-mail address ‘jfoust@threedee.com' as explained in my previous letter. This method will avoid any future problems with unreadable disks. I would like to receive them in this fashion before the end of day, March 2. Your letter claims that my request for the December and January minutes of the JDC has been fulfilled by a disk you gave me on January 21. That disk contained:
which I am sure you can identify as the agenda of the January meeting, the old and new by-laws, and the minutes of the December meeting. I requested these in an e-mail on January 18, when I wrote "I request electronic copies of the newly proposed by-laws, the agenda of the January 18 meeting, and the approved minutes of the December 21 meeting." You are correct in that you had delivered the December minutes and my request for this was redundant. You are incorrect in believing you had already delivered the January minutes. However, I see no evidence that I've requested records "three or four times" as you claim in your letter. Sincerely, John J. Foust |
