I submit herewith a copy of all records in my possession provided to Jefferson County since January 1, 2001, under the JCEDC contract. By copy of this letter, I request the JCEDC to e-mail to you copies in electronic form of all documents previously submitted to the County if such documents are capable of such transmission. As to the balance of your request, I attach correspondence from Attorney Robert L. Gordon, representing the JCEDC, indicating that the JCEDC will not surrender said documents. As such, I cannot provide them to you at this time. Please consider this an interim response. I have directed the County's attorney to review this with the JCEDC attorney and staff to advise as to which JCEDC records are public records, given the response from the JCEDC. A further response will be forthcoming after that review.
