The Tuesday, July 1, 1997, meeting of the Cable TV Franchise Negotiating Committee was called to order at 5:30 PM by Ald. Carnes.  On call of the roll, members present were:  Ald. Carnes, Ald. Wagner, and Ald. Beyer.  Also present was City Administrator Schornack.

Ald. Carnes, seconded by Ald. Wagner moved to recommend that Marcus Cable pay the City's cable TV consultant's fee either before the Common Council approves the new agreement with Marcus Cable or the City will incorporate a statement into the agreement with Marcus Cable that Marcus is to pay the Cable TV Franchise consultant's fee.

The motion carried unanimously.

Ald. Wagner, seconded by Ald. Beyer moved to recommend approval of the Cable TV Franchise ordinance.  The motion carried unanimously.

Ald. Wagner, seconded by Ald. Carnes moved to approve the minutes from the April 7, 1997, meeting of the Cable TV Franchise Negotiating Committee.  The motion carried unanimously.

Ald. Beyer, seconded by Ald. Wagner moved to adjourn the July 1, 1997, meeting of the Cable TV Franchise Negotiating Committee.  The motion carried unanimously.
